COALITION FOR A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD, LLC

STATEMENT OF MISSION

Competition is the fundamental principle of a free enterprise system. The mission of the Coalition for a Level Playing Field, LLC, is to provide leadership, to be a respected industry voice, and to enhance our members' ability to effectively serve their marketplace. Paraphrasing the Supreme Court of the United States, "Anti-Trust Laws are to every business as necessary and important as the Bill of Rights is to every citizen."

GOALS OF THE COALITION FOR A LEVEL PLAYING FIELD, LLC

Inform, promote and ensure the future economic survival of the Automotive Aftermarket industry through education of its members and by combating discriminatory, illegal and unfair practices including predatory pricing schemes.

Promote communication, understanding, and cooperation with other industry and business organizations that work for the same common equality in business.

Advocate an aggressive lobbying strategy (and litigation, if necessary) designed to inform federal lawmakers, state lawmakers, and regulators of the critical importance of ensuring that federal and state Anti-Trust laws, especially the Robinson-Patman Act, are vigorously enforced and implemented consistent with their original intent.

Promote the highest standards of personal and business ethics.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the Coalition for a Level Playing Field is to preserve the rights of the automotive aftermarket industry to enable it to compete with the large mass merchandisers.

The above statement of mission goals and objectives is hereby ratified by the following Founding Members:
